On May 31, 2026, touring golf professional Ash Hakim proved he can putt by beating a strong field in the inaugural 2026 McCracken 22 Invitational Putting Championship held at Diablo Creek GC in Concord, CA. The field included LPGA Major Champion Pat Hurst and 2026 California State High School Champion Drue Sanchez.

Welcome to the McCracken 22 Putting Challenge
Rules, Guidelines and Scoring
McCracken 22 is a fun, challenging and simple game to play. The Rules, Guidelines and Scoring section on this website will explain the rules in detail. There are also Instructional Videos featuring Jason Schmul. Jason is a 4-time Northern California PGA Section Player of the Year and the videos will illustrate the rules as well. The video section also includes some tips on strategies relating to common game situations.
LEARN MORERegister to Host your Event
Registering to host your official Local Qualifying event is easy. An official event requires 4 players and you can choose any putting green to hold your qualifier. After you have registered, you will receive a McCracken 22 Putting Challenge Event Kit. The Event Kit will include Custom Scorecards and Measuring Tapes. The winner of each of Local Qualifying event held in 2026 will advance directly to the Championship Finals which will be contested on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at Diablo Creek GC in Concord, CA.
